Local Farmer Michael Eggman Kicks Off Campaign for Congress
Turlock, Calif. – Michael Eggman today formally kicked off his campaign for Congress surrounded by supporters at Donnelly Park in Turlock, California. Eggman, a local farmer and small business owner, is running for Congress in California’s competitive 10th Congressional District against Republican Jeff Denham.
“For too long, partisan gridlock in Washington has hurt us here in the Valley. We deserve better,” said Eggman. “Instead of getting bogged down in petty partisanship, I will be a collaborative leader who focuses on solutions, not politics.”
Growing up on a farm in Turlock, Eggman helped his parents run the family business and learned the value of hard work. Today, Eggman still farms the same land he grew up on, operating an almond orchard and managing thousands of beehives that produce honey for families all across the state. Traveling up and down the Central Valley in his pickup truck to follow the harvest, Eggman understands the hardships faced by local families and business owners. Eggman is running for Congress to be a voice for them.
